AMD Fusion E-450, E-300 and C-60 APUs announced

AMD has just updated its C and A series APUs, which will soon find their way into the latest ultraportables, laptops, netbooks, and small form factor PCs. The new chips feature enhanced graphics capabilities, support DDR3 1333 memory, and HDMI 1.4a for viewing 3D content.

  At the top of the table, the E-450 has two 1.65GHz x86 cores and a Radeon HD 6320 GPU clocked at 508MHz, with AMD Turbo Core potentially cranking the speed to 600MHz. OEM's integrating the E-450 should be able to deliver upto 10.5 hours of battery life, according to AMD. The E-450 retains the 18W TDP rating of the chip it replaces - the E-350. Meanwhile, the E-300, which does not support Turbo Core will replace the E-240 at a slightly lower clock speed, but with dual 1.3GHz x86 cores. 
At the lower end of the Fusion line-up, we have a faster new C-60, at the same TDP of the C-50. The C-60 has a higher max CPU clock speed of 1.33GHz, compared to the 1 GHz C-50, while the GPU can clock up to 400MHz from 276MHz, thanks to the Turbo Core feature. Rated battery life is around 12 hours.
